What happens after I place a rental order?

We will send your rental request to the Jade member who listed the item. Upon the lender’s approval they will ship your item within one business day. Enjoy free 2-day shipping on us!

When does my rental period start?

Your rental period starts upon the receipt and signature of the package, which is typically 2-3 business days from the time you place the rental order.

What does the rental insurance cover?

For added peace of mind, every rental comes with a comprehensive insurance policy to cover accidental damages during your rental.

What happens if my item gets lost in transit?

Jade’s insurance policy has you covered in the rare event that your item gets lost. Please reach out to support@shoponjade.com, and we'll promptly assist you in resolving the situation.

What happens if my item is returned late?

We'll get notified by the carrier when you ship your item back to Jade using the provided pre-paid label. If your item is not shipped by the ship-by date, we’ll automatically extend your item’s rental by 1 week and charge a prorated amount (7x the bag’s daily rental fee).

Yes, Jade makes rent-to-buy a breeze. We facilitate offers from renters to lenders and when both parties agree on a price, we'll process the transaction for you.

How are items authenticated?

We employ a team of specialized experts to authenticate Jade members’ luxury items. After each rental return, we thoroughly review each item, guaranteeing the authenticity of every item you receive.
